Marc Adelsheimer, MD



Dr. Marc Adelsheimer is an expert in performing regenerative orthopedic procedures using bone marrow concentrate (containing a patient’s own live stem cells), Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Prolotherapy for osteoarthritis, tendonitis, ligament tears and more. He also specializes in interventional pain management and has performed over 30,000 fluoroscopically guided spinal procedures. Dr. Adelsheimer holds board certification in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Adelsheimer incorporates these procedures into an overall rehabilitation plan designed to decrease pain and improve quality of life.
Dr. Adelsheimer is a native of Pittsburgh who has dedicated his career to the non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal pain disorders. He graduated cum laude from Duke University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1987. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1991. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tufts University in 1995, serving as Chief Resident. He holds board certification in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pain Medicine.
