At Regenexx Pittsburgh We Go Safely
As Pennsylvania continues into “Green,” we want our patients to know that here at Regenexx Pittsburgh, we are still taking COVID-19 very seriously. We are first and foremost committed to the health and safety of our patients and will continue to follow CDC guidelines and directions from Governor Wolf’s office. For more information on how to keep you and your loved ones safe during this time, what to do if you think you’re sick, or for a full list of business reopening regulations, please visit the CDC’s website:
Because of COVID-19, Orthopedic surgeons everywhere have been redefining “business as usual.” Many, such as the Ohio Orthopedic Surgery Institute, have enhanced screening for staff and patients, increased sanitation measures, and started disallowing visitors [3]. Others, like Columbia Orthopedics in New York City, are offering virtual telehealth appointments [4].
What COVID Safety Zone Means at Regenexx Pittsburgh
Regenexx Pittsburgh is implementing all of these practices and more to ensure your visit with us is as safe as possible. In accordance with the CDC [1] and Pennsylvania Department of Health [2] guidelines, we have created a COVID-19 Safety Zone that both meets and exceeds requirements.
Pre-Appointment patient COVID-19 symptom checks by phone
Patients go from car to one-at-a-time check-in to private exam room.
On-premises patient temperature check and COVID-19 symptom re-check.
All providers and staff wear masks to reduce potential spread of virus to patients.
All providers and patients use frequent handwashing.
All common surfaces cleaned frequently with medical grade anti-viral disinfectants.
We believe that continuing with these measures will help stop the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to modify our safety measures to comply with new state and federal recommendations/orders as they come.
