Why do you believe in stem cell and PRP treatments?

These treatments have good patient outcomes. Patients come in having tried several other means without success and walk out having great results with our PRP or stem cell treatments.

If one of your family members were thinking about getting a joint replacement, what would you tell them?

Stem cells serve as an alternative to joint replacement surgery with high success rates.  Also, the other Regenexx treatments serve as an alternative option for orthopedic conditions with high success rates as well.

If you’d like to learn more about our success rates, make sure to check out our outcome data. Regenexx is the only stem cell treatment network to publish this type of analysis of patient stem cell procedure outcome data. The analysis is made possible thanks to the massive numbers that are compiled throughout the years in the Regenexx patient registry, which tracks patient outcomes at regular intervals following all of the stem cell procedures we offer.

What do you think makes a successful patient?

Patients who genuinely want to get better!

What is the biggest benefit you see patients receiving from the Regenexx procedures?

It alleviates the patient’s symptoms.  Several patients have come back to have a second body part treated after having success with the first.

If you would like to learn more about our regenerative options (and to come in and meet Tia in person!), please make sure to give our office a call at 412.963.6480 or complete our candidate form.

RAPS offers free educational seminars around the area as well! If you would like to learn more about attending an upcoming event, make sure to visit our seminar page.  We would love to have you!

Shoulder Surgery Alternatives for Faster Recovery

Shoulder dislocations and Bankart Lesions are common injuries, particularly for young athletes who participate in baseball, volleyball, weight lifting, or gymnastics. Often, when shoulder pain does not go away, it is because of complications caused by a Bankart Lesion, a condition where the cartilage that lines the outside of the shoulder’s socket (called the labrum) tears. This injury can be treated with surgery, but a Bone Marrow Concentrate procedure is a non-surgical regenerative procedure option that may bring faster recovery for affected young athletes, as well as active older adults.
