If you’ve called our office, or scheduled an appointment, you’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Gesele!
Gesele has been working at Regenerative and Performance Specialists for 5 years and loves how up to date the Regenexx procedures are. The science behind stem cells and platelets fascinates her. And we definitely agree!
Talking with many patients, Gesele believes the biggest misconception about stem cell procedures lie within the source of the stem cells. If you’ve read our other staff interviews, like our office manager’s Michelle, you may have noticed this as a recurring theme!
Where Do The Stem Cells Come From?
Many of our patients come in unaware of the stem cell’s source. Are they their own? Are they extracted from fat? Are the stem cells taken from bone marrow? Where are they taken from?
Have you been keeping up with Joe’s osteoarthritis journey on our blog? If so, you may have noticed this was also a concern he had before he decided on the Regenexx procedures. A friend had a stem cell procedure done from fat tissue and they didn’t have the best outcome.
If you live in the Pittsburgh area, you may have received marketing materials in your mailbox inviting you to stem cell seminars. These seminars are pushing stem cell injections which originate from placenta stem cells. Here at RAPS, we don’t believe that is the best way to go. Using your own body to heal is your best chance to lower risk and to increase your chance of recovery.
Since the beginning, Regenexx has been studying, testing and constantly reassessing what gives the best outcomes. Learn more about the process here.
Gesele believes in the providers of RAPS and she’d encourage anyone with an orthopedic condition, or on the verge of a joint replacement, to schedule a consultation. Learn your options and find out whether Regenexx procedures would be beneficial in your unique situation.
Ensuring Your Best Regenexx Outcome!
Here at RAPS, we believe in a holistic mindset. In order to promote the best recovery, a patient must focus on living a healthy lifestyle.
There are many aspects to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and Gesele personally believes that diet, exercise, a positive outlook and helping others are key ingredients. Gesele keeps moving by incorporating dancing, swimming and weights into her routine.
It’s important to note that this is what works for Gesele and each body is unique. That’s why Gesele loves that RAPS now has a MedFit program to help assist patients in these areas within their lives. Pinpointing exactly what the individual patient needs to live a healthy lifestyle sets them up for complete success! Learn more and download our free MedFit cookbook here!
We know you’ll enjoy talking with Gesele, so don’t hesitate to call our office (412.963.6480) with questions or to schedule an appointment!
