This Year, Joe Got His Own Christmas Tree

What has been the biggest change Joe has experienced since using his own stem cells to treat his osteoarthritis in February 2015? (Read about it here)

Improved function! Joe can work, walk and play again. He’s back to doing things that he took for granted. A walk in the park and playing soccer with his children. Attending yoga classes and getting back to the Crossfit gym. Chronic pain decreased his productivity at work and, since having the Regenexx procedure, Joe has experienced more effectiveness at his job.

Last year this time, Joe remembers going to get a family Christmas tree. He cut the tree but experienced some problems doing so. He ended up having to have someone else haul it out. This year he was able to go, cut down the tree and haul it out with his son!

“As much as the videos and talking to people who have had the procedure convinced me that this procedure would work, there was that nagging feeling that this must be ‘too good to be true’.  The realization that it is all that is advertised and that I have my life back is a wonderful thing.”

We’ve had many patients talk about moments like these. Situations where, prior to Regenexx, they were unable to complete a task or enjoy an activity. Using your own stem cells to activate your healing ability ignites our patients back to health and allows them to enjoy their interests.

In fact, last Christmas, avascular necrosis patient Julie found herself reminiscing on activities she wasn’t able to complete prior to her Regenexx procedure. (Watch the video here)

Joe Young Regenexxx Pittsburgh Osteoarthritis Stem CellsMoments like these shouldn’t be taken for granted.

“It is an ‘expensive’ procedure, but the price of quality of life far outweighs the price of the procedure.”

Joe’s knee is feeling great and he’s realized how beneficial the treatment was to his osteoarthritis. He is, however, experiencing some recurrent cervical spine issues at the moment, but his leg is working wonderfully.

Since the procedure, Joe has been doing CrossFit, yoga, and lifting weights. He believes these activities have helped him immensely. Of course, life gets in the way, and his work schedule prohibits him from getting to classes all the time. But, Joe sees the benefits of keeping his physical fitness top priority as it helps the stem cells heal and do their job!

At 6 months out, if Joe could go back and give himself advice what would he say?

“Why the hell did you wait so long?”

Joe believes that the Regenexx procedure is “Exceptional.  Unlike any other ‘medical’ experience.”

We look forward to Joe realizing more benefits over the next few months and we’re ecstatic of his progress thus far!
